People ask me, "what is your favorite piece of jewelry to make?"
My favorite is actually not a jewelry item (although I have seen many people wear them) but a devotional: The Rosary.
I use all construction methods, including metal links, knotting, or beading, and I follow the standard Catholic configuration.
I am also happy to make Dominican rosaries, the seven-decade rosary honoring Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, or the single-decade
wrist variety.

A custom Rosary can cost between $25 and $250, depending
on materials and construction method. A simple beaded design of good quality glass will run around $30-40;
something exotic like the free-form picture jasper rosary with hand-knotted stations is $70. The bulk of your cost
will rest in the crucifix, center, and associated metals. For example, the all sterling model below would run approximately
$175 at today's silver prices!!
