Repairing a broken bauble is a great way to "go green" and recycle. I
enjoy rescuing treasures from Zip-Loc bags almost as much as I do creating new pieces. Here is one small example of
unearthing a buried treasure and bringing it back to life.

This big, beautiful ring took a bad bash,
resulting in deformation of the shank.
The ring was unwearable.
|
A few simple turns on my magic mandrel,
and the ring was re-rounded and wearable
once again.

Twenty-four of the 1mm marcasite stones
surrounding the citrine solitaire had been
lost. Replacing
those stones restored the
ring to its original,
shimmering beauty.

Free estimates.
-
Estimates given include parts and labor charges.
-
Labor is $25 per hour, and is charged in tenths of an hour.
If a repair takes 12 minutes, for example, then your labor charge will be $5, plus any parts.
Sometimes, a piece is simply beyond repair, but you may want to keep the components
for aesthetic or sentimental reasons. In that case, consider a redesign. We can make suggestions, or if you have
something special in mind, we will work with you to achieve your vision. Design time rate is the same as repair labor
($25/hour, calculated in tenths of an hour).
If you have a repair or a redesign project, drop me an e-mail, or feel free
to come to one of our monthly jewelry clinics at Flair for Hair in Seattle (click Upcoming Events to find out the next clinic date).
